Meyer-Steineg Collection of Medical History in Jena

Theodor Meyer-Steineg’s (1813–1936) collection comprises around 1,000 original and replicated medical instruments spanning from antiquity to the twentieth century. It is one of the most significant private university collections on medical history that a medical historian has ever assembled. What makes this collection so unique are the many antique items Meyer-Steineg collected.
