Seismogram Archive
Around 1900, earthquake started to be recorded worldwide. The Department of General Geophysics at Friedrich Schiller University Jena is home to the Seismogram Archive containing seismic recordings from 1903 until the present day. Thanks to featuring an almost complete record of recordings, the archive is partner of EuroSeismos, a European network that digitizes seismic records to make them available for research.
