Das von Haussknecht beschriebene Tal trägt heute den Namen Yeşilvadi ('grünes Tal') und ist immer noch ein Ausflugziel mit parkähnlichen Anlagen. Es befindet sich allerdings nicht im Norden, wie Haussknecht schreibt, sondern im Süden der Stadt, wie auch in der Kiepert Karte korrekt wiedergegeben. (SK)

'Tūt' (توت) bedeutet auf Arabisch und Osmanisch 'Maulbeere'. Der Ortsname 'Tutluk' ist in der Bezeichnung eines Geschäftes ( Tutluk Büfe) im Bezirk Şahinbey im Süden Gazianteps nachzuweisen. Das von Haussknecht beschriebene Tal trägt heute den Namen Yeşilvadi ('grünes Tal') und ist immer noch ein Ausflugziel mit parkähnlichen Anlagen. Auf dem Gipfel des Dülük Baba Tepesi befand sich in der Antike der Tempel des Iupiter Dolichenus. Auf dem Gipfel des Dülük Baba Tepesi befand sich in der Antike der Tempel des Iupiter Dolichenus. Die 'Capelle', die Haussknecht an dieser Stelle erwähnt, war wohl ein islamisches Heiligengrab, das Humann/Puchstein 1882-1883 ebenfalls gesehen haben.
